Luzes exteriores e do terraçoOutdoor and terrace lights
Acendem sozinhas quando está escuro e há movimento no terraço, ou quando um telemóvel conhecido ou o carro chega a casa.
Ficam 20 minutos; o tempo renova-se enquanto houver movimento. Apagam-se quando o tempo acaba ou quando amanhece.
Luzes: terraço (lado da cozinha e da sala de jantar), luz exterior pequena, luzes de cordão e fita de luz da Ruína.
They come on by themselves when it is dark and there is motion on the terrace, or when a known phone or the car arrives home.
They stay 20 minutes; the timer renews while there is motion. Off when the timer ends or when it gets light.
Lights: terrace (kitchen and dining-room side), the small outdoor light, the string lights and the Ruin light strip.
Jardim: névoa e regaGarden: mist and sprinkler
Névoa: controlo «Garden Mist» (área Garden). 0 = desligada; 1, 2, 3 = pulsos de 30 s com pausas de 90, 45 e 30 s; 4 = contínua.
Pára sozinha: ao fim de 2 h no máximo, 30 min depois de escurecer, 10 min se chover ou estiver abaixo de 15 °C, e logo que comece a chover.
Atenção: a automatização «Garden Mist» está desligada neste momento (Outono). Para usar o controlo, liga-a em Definições → Automatizações.
Rega: liga o interruptor «Sprinkler» na app ou o botão na própria válvula. Corre os minutos definidos em «Sprinkler run minutes» e desliga-se sempre ao fim de 1 hora.
Mist: the “Garden Mist” control (Garden area). 0 = off; 1, 2, 3 = 30-second pulses with 90, 45 and 30-second pauses; 4 = continuous.
It stops by itself: after 2 h at most, 30 min after dark, 10 min if raining or below 15 °C, and as soon as rain starts.
Note: the “Garden Mist” automation is switched off at the moment (autumn). To use the slider, enable it under Settings → Automations.
Sprinkler: switch “Sprinkler” on in the app or press the button on the valve itself. It runs for the minutes set in “Sprinkler run minutes” and always stops after 1 hour.
Luzes das divisõesRoom lights
Sala (0–10), sala de jantar, Quarto Banana, Boudoir, Jordan e E&N (0–5): cada divisão tem um nível de cena no Home Assistant e botões na parede que fazem o mesmo (rodar o botão sobe/desce; os comandos IKEA pequenos também).
Botão rotativo preto junto à porta da rua: um toque desliga tudo ao sair.
Automáticas por movimento: cozinha (também ao abrir a porta), entrada (apaga 60 s depois), escadas, despensa, lavandaria e casa de banho da Ruína (apagam 5 min depois).
Cozinha a cozinhar: liga «Kitchen Cool White» para luz branca fria durante 2 h; volta sozinha a quente.
Lounge (0–10), dining room, Banana Room, Boudoir, Jordan and E&N (0–5): each room has a scene level in Home Assistant and wall controls that do the same (turn the knob up/down; the small IKEA remotes too).
Black rotary knob by the front door: one press switches everything off when you leave.
Motion-driven: kitchen (also when the door opens), lobby (off after 60 s), stairs, pantry, laundry and the Ruin bathroom (off after 5 min).
Cooking: switch on “Kitchen Cool White” for cool white light for 2 h; it returns to warm by itself.
Porta da rua e campainhaFront door and doorbell
Abrir: encosta o telemóvel à etiqueta NFC «Open Front Door» (abre 3 s) ou usa o botão junto à porta. Há também uma página web com PIN para convidados — pede ao Edward.
Campainha: toca o «ding-dong», as luzes principais piscam duas vezes e todos os telemóveis da casa recebem aviso.
Porta aberta mais de 1 minuto ou pancadas na porta: a casa avisa.
Para sair abre a porta normalmente; não puxes a peça do trinco (ver o vídeo).
Open: hold a phone to the “Open Front Door” NFC tag (opens for 3 s) or use the knob by the door. There is also a PIN web page for guests — ask Edward.
Doorbell: the ding-dong chimes, the main lights blink twice and every phone in the house gets a notification.
Door left open for over a minute, or knocking: the house sends an alert.
To leave, open the door normally; don't pull on the latch mechanism (see the video).
LavandariaLaundry
Máquina de lavar: ao ligar, encosta o telemóvel à etiqueta NFC do ciclo (20 min, 55 min, 2 h ou 4 h). No fim, a casa avisa e as luzes da cozinha e da lavandaria piscam a vermelho até encostares a etiqueta «Empty» (ou carregares no botão «Washing Machine Empty» na app).
Máquina de secar: com o controlo remoto ligado, faz um segundo ciclo sozinha e avisa quando acaba (modo anti-vincos).
Washing machine: when you start it, hold a phone to the NFC tag for the cycle length (20 min, 55 min, 2 h or 4 h). When it is done the house notifies you and the kitchen and laundry lights flash red until you tap the “Empty” tag (or press “Washing Machine Empty” in the app).
Dryer: with remote control on it runs a second cycle by itself and notifies when done (wrinkle-protect mode).
Clima, água quente e humidadeClimate, hot water and humidity
Aquecimento/ar condicionado por divisão (sala, Boudoir, Jordan, E&N): ajusta a temperatura no Home Assistant.
Água quente: a tomada do esquentador volta a ligar-se sozinha se for desligada; abaixo de 30 °C a casa avisa. O esquentador Ariston da Ruína também está na app.
Desumidificadores (sala de jantar e casa de banho de cima): ligam acima de 61 % de humidade e desligam abaixo de 59 %. O de baixo pára enquanto a porta da sala de jantar estiver aberta; o de cima tem bomba de esvaziamento. Se aparecer aviso de depósito cheio, despeja-o.
Heating/air-conditioning per room (lounge, Boudoir, Jordan, E&N): set the temperature in Home Assistant.
Hot water: the heater's socket switches itself back on if turned off; below 30 °C the house alerts. The Ariston heater in the Ruin is in the app too.
Dehumidifiers (dining room and upstairs bathroom): on above 61 % humidity, off below 59 %. The downstairs one pauses while the dining-room door is open; the upstairs one has a drain pump. If a tank-full alert appears, empty it.
Som, TV e impressoraSound, TV and printer
Televisão da sala: liga/desliga, entradas (Mi Box, CoreELEC) e rádio (Antena 1/2/3, BBC Radio 4, World Service, WNYC, DW, Al Jazeera, France 24, Rádio Nova) no painel «TV & Radio».
O amplificador da cozinha em 87.6 FM toca o som da televisão da sala (ver o vídeo).
Impressora HP (Boudoir): se ficar offline, reinicia-se sozinha em 10 minutos.
Lounge TV: on/off, inputs (Mi Box, CoreELEC) and radio (Antena 1/2/3, BBC Radio 4, World Service, WNYC, DW, Al Jazeera, France 24, Rádio Nova) on the “TV & Radio” panel.
The kitchen amp on 87.6 FM plays the lounge TV sound (see the video).
HP printer (Boudoir): if it goes offline it restarts itself within 10 minutes.
Câmaras e alertasCameras and alerts
Câmara do cão e câmara exterior, frigorífico, Wi-Fi e válvulas são vigiados; os alertas vão para o Edward (e para quem estiver em casa, se for urgente). Não é preciso fazer nada.
Dog cam and outdoor cam, fridge, Wi-Fi and valves are all monitored; alerts go to Edward (and to whoever is home, if urgent). Nothing for you to do.
